Dr David H.Dighton MB BS MRCP(UK)
Qualified in 1966 from the (now Royal) London Hospital Medical College
London University. After a BHF research fellowship at St George’s
Hospital, London with Aubrey Leatham and Alan Harris he became
a lecturer in general hospital medicine and cardiology at Charing
Cross Hospital. He left to work in Amsterdam as Chef de Clinique,
Research Cardiologist and Assistant Professor inCardiology at the
Vrije Universiteit ,Amsterdam.  Since 1982 he has been Director
of Loughton Clinic and the Cardiac Centre, Loughton.

His main aims; have been the very early detection of coronary heart
disease. He aims to help people becoming patients but realises that most
have neither the inclination nor the knowledge to do so. His
attempts to help educate people are contained in two books, some details

Chief Clinical Physiologist at
the Loughton Clinic & Cardiac Centre
Loughton since 2000.

She undertakes echocardiograms,
stress echocardiograms, exercise tests,
24h ECG’s and BP’s together with lung
function studies.

She now has 22 years experience of
non-invasive heart and lung testing.
